Juan Carlos Arias

I am Juan Carlos Arias, a Colombian-born architect living and working in Dallas, Texas. I have over 26 years of experience in the architectural design of office, corporate, retail, institutional, hospitality, healthcare, and educational buildings. My work has been centered on the use of technology to deliver high performance, quality architecture. I am a designer with advanced skills using 3D architectural design and visualization software, which gives me the ability to perform early design exploration in SketchUp, refine and advance the design using Revit, and create renderings for project presentations and design validation.

 

I am a BIM expert with over 18 years of experience creating digital models in Revit to communicate design ideas to colleagues, consultants, and clients as well to reduce potential problems during construction. The scope of my work ranges from city-scale master plans to interior design. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to live and work in Australia, Mexico, Colombia, and the US. I also have projects in China, South Korea, Spain, Singapore, the Middle East, and the Philippines.
